Meal ideas for my 14 month old
1/2 chicken sausage patty ( Trader Joe’s)
1 whole broccoli floret (steamed )
1 strawberry (sliced)
This meal was super quick to prep, colorful, and full of flavor!
Bonus: It’s vegan-friendly if you use the meatless sausage patties from Trader Joe’s too!
I originally picked up the breakfast patties just for her, but after I had a bite… yeah, I went back the next day because there weren’t enough for both of us!
#ToddlerApproved 😂
Love a good find that hits for both baby and mama.

When feeding a 14-month-old, it’s essential to provide meals that are not only nutritious but also appealing to young tastes. Incorporating colorful ingredients like vibrant vegetables and sweet fruits can make meals more exciting. For example, consider adding avocado, sweet potato, or peas to the mix, as these provide a great source of vitamins. Parents often seek simple recipes that don’t take much time to prepare. One recommended approach is batch cooking; preparing meals for the week can save time during busy days. Frozen foods like peas or broccoli can also be easy additions to meal plans. Remember that exploring different textures and flavors can help develop healthy eating habits in toddlers. In your grocery shopping, consider options from Trader Joe’s, which offers various organic and toddler-friendly products that are often both nutritious and convenient. Look for meatless options and other meal choices that can be easily adapted to suit the tastes of both toddlers and adults. Engaging children in the meal prep process, like letting them choose fruits or vegetables, can further enhance their interest in their meals. Always ensure the food is cut into age-appropriate sizes to prevent choking hazards, ensuring a safer eating experience.
