All of the concerts I went to in 2023

All the shows and festivals I hit last year! Music is a HUGE part of my life and I can listen to pretty much anything. Hell you could put some polka music on and I’d be getting down. One thing I love about living near the city is all the show opportunities that I never got living in small town Alaska.

YES most of these are edm shows. They are so cheap and there is always a showing going on on the weekends!

I can’t wait to see how many shows I can make it to in 2024 ❤️

One of the highlights was attending Bass Canyon, a 3-day music festival that took place in a breathtaking desert location. The festival was filled with heart-thumping bass music, providing an amazing atmosphere for fans and artists alike. The pinnacle for me was witnessing GRiZ perform live; his energy and stage presence were unmatched, making that performance memorable for everyone in attendance. Another unforgettable experience was seeing Milky Chance live. I've listened to their music since high school, and seeing them perform was surreal. Their interactive performance made the concert feel personal and included, and the crowd’s energy elevated the entire experience. Young the Giant was another favorite, bringing back nostalgic memories while captivating us with their live set. I even attended my first house show featuring Disco Lines, which was a magical experience blending house music with an intimate venue setting. The growth of the EDM scene in my area offered an array of affordable shows, allowing access to these fantastic live experiences every weekend. From local raves to big-ticket events featuring artists like Pitbull and Ricky Martin, 2023 was a treasure trove of musical discovery. Reflecting on these concerts, I feel grateful for the connections made and experiences shared with friends. Music is not just a pastime; it's a way of life that brings people together, fostering happiness and unforgettable memories. I can hardly wait to see what concerts await in 2024!
