intention
2023, what a year! for me, it was full of new adventures, life changes, and a year of releasing all control of my life to God. I stopped making my own plans, I stopped listening to everyone else, and I started hearing God more clearly. last year, I set my sights on growth, and I can honestly say that’s exactly what i’ve done!
in 2023, ALL BECAUSE OF GOD, I got into and completed my master's degree from Liberty as well as got into the Ph.D. program I have been praying over, I created a blog, I did my first podcast interview, I got a job as a youth leader, went to so many concerts, football games (GO VOLS😤), and so much more! through all the good, it also came with some trials and things I have gone through in private that I am now so grateful for. everything has a purpose!
this year, I am setting my sights on intentional growth! I am one who will take on everything and go through the motions because I have committed to doing it, eventually becoming too overwhelmed. in 2024, I am focusing not so much on growing and doing it all, but on growing and doing it intentionally! everything I write will be intentional, not just to put something out because I made a deadline. anything I take on will be done intentionally, not just to do it because I don’t want to upset anyone.
I have learned that if I do not do what God has called me to intentionally, then I might as well not do it! 2024 is a year for intentional writing, relationships, responsibilities, and love! I hope you take on this challenge of intentionality with me! BE INTENTIONAL! do everything God has called you to do only to glorify Him 🤍
happy new year ✨

In today's fast-paced world, the concept of intentional living has gained significant traction. It goes beyond merely completing tasks; it's about ensuring that every action aligns with our deeper values and purpose. As we reflect on personal milestones, like the completion of a master's degree or engaging in community leadership, it's crucial to recognize that intentionality enhances our experiences. Colossians 3:23 reminds us to focus our efforts on serving a higher purpose rather than seeking human approval. This perspective shift can transform various aspects of our lives—be it relationships, work responsibilities, or creative endeavors. By applying intentionality, we prioritize quality over quantity, ensuring that our contributions resonate more profoundly. Moreover, to cultivate a community built on support and inspiration, it's essential to create spaces where we can share our journeys. Engaging with like-minded individuals, perhaps through blogs or podcasts, can foster a network of motivation and encouragement. Embrace this opportunity to take on 2024 with a heart directed towards intentional growth, recognizing the divine purpose behind your actions and choices.
