Book #2 of 2024 finished!
I just finished book number 2 of my 2024 TBR pile, I am looking at starting the second book in the series. Loved this book would rate 10/10, which has a very nice pace to the book, an intriguing mystery based in the early 50s after World War 2. A man is released from prison and finds himself with nothing but his pocket change, a bus ticket, and the clothes on his back headed to a small town/city called Poca City. This is where he finds himself on parole, looking for work, and finds himself at a bar making a deal to collect a debt for a local businessman. Soon, it is realized Poca City is a lot more dangerous and mysterious than one would think.
