As you could probably tell, I have a slight book addiction. Whether I can afford it or not, I will always come home with a new book to add to my little collection. As of right now though, I have decided that it is probably best to take a pause on buying books. Not only do I not have the space for more books, but I also am starting to feel a little overwhelmed with how much I actually have to read. Which is not how reading should feel. It should always be fun and therapeutic, it should never ever feel like a chore. So in order to fix that, I made a tbr jar. A tbr jar is a decorative jar that has folded up pieces of paper with titles of books that you’d like to eventually read. Whenever you are ready to start a new book, you’ll take out a mystery title. At the moment, I am currently in the process of reading an arc that was kindly gifted to me by an indie author, but as soon as I am done I am going to draw a mystery title to pick my next read. I truly think having a tbr jar will not only help me accomplish my goal of finishing all my physical and e-reader books, but it will always just add the element of fun that I have been lacking.
