Easy oven cabbage
Cut a small cabbage into 4 wedges
I prefer to chop my wedges up so it cooks more evenly, I like mine to have no crunch 🙂
Tear off 4 sheet’s of Aluminum’s foil big enough to close the tinfoil up over the cabbage, then add cabbage to foil
Season to your liking!!!
I used… Pepper, Onion Salt, & Paprika no measurements just eyeballed it
Add a little oil or butter
Close the tinfoil up so steam is trapped inside
Cook for 25-30 minutes at 400F (or until done to your liking ☺️)
Such a great side! Super simple and a family favorite here!! Adding bacon is really good as well!
Oven-cooked cabbage is not only a tasty side dish but also packed with nutrients! Cabbage is rich in vitamins K and C, and is low in calories, making it an excellent choice for health-conscious eaters. To make your dish even more flavorful, consider adding smoked bacon or crumbled cheese after cooking. Feel free to experiment with different spices like garlic powder or cayenne pepper to adjust the heat level to your liking. Additionally, remember that wrapping the cabbage tightly in foil traps steam, ensuring you get that tender, melt-in-your-mouth texture everyone loves. For variation, try cooking other vegetables alongside the cabbage, such as carrots or potatoes, for a complete oven meal. Whether you're looking for an easy weeknight side or something to impress guests, this oven-cooked cabbage checks all the boxes!

I always have my mom cook my cabbage but now I can try this. Thank you ☺️
