pinterest vs. my closet 👖
february always makes me want to bust out the red pieces on my closet, but i always have the hardest time styling them. luckily pinterest exists to give us a bit of inspiration and here's what i did with a look i liked!
i switched it up by wearing my favorite barrel jeans instead of boot cut ones and eliminated the bracelets to make it more my speed.
i love shopping my closet so much!!

I've found that one of the best ways to refresh your wardrobe is by combining inspiration from platforms like Pinterest with your existing clothing items. For me, February is always a time when I want to wear red, but putting together a flattering outfit can be tricky. What really helped was adapting the look I admired by choosing barrel jeans over boot cut jeans, which gave the outfit a more relaxed and modern vibe. Ditching extra accessories like bracelets also made the outfit feel more me — simple and comfortable without sacrificing style. From my experience, barrel jeans pair excellently with flats, offering a chic yet casual silhouette. I've noticed that switching up shoes, like swapping sneakers for flats, can completely change the feel of an outfit while still keeping it comfortable and practical for everyday wear. Shopping your own closet is a rewarding approach that encourages creativity and sustainability. It allows you to see your clothes in new ways and combine pieces you might not have originally considered together. I highly recommend giving it a try before heading out to buy something new — you might be surprised by how many great outfits are already hanging there! For plus-size fashion, taking inspiration from Pinterest can be a great way to find looks that flatter your shape and suit your personal style. It's important to adapt outfits to your preferences and comfort level. For example, if a look calls for boot cut jeans but you prefer barrel jeans, go for what feels right. Personalizing inspiration is key. Overall, blending Pinterest inspiration with items from my closet helps me stay creative, express myself, and enjoy fashion in a way that's truly my own. This method also emphasizes confidence in styling, which I believe is the most important accessory you can wear.

This is cute. Especially the baby doll shoes 😍🥰🥰
