Google Vids: Job Presenter Video Creator with AI

Google recently launched Google Vids, a new AI tool in Google Workspace designed to create videos specifically for job presenters, up to 10 minutes long, and can work with others as easily as Google Docs and Sheets.

Google Vids Featured Features

Create a video from the command (Veo 3): Just type the desired command to get an 8-second video clip from the AI.

You can upload an existing image or video and instruct AI to create more creations, or AI to create new videos from scratch.

Voice Over: You don't have to record yourself. Just add a script from Google Docs or Slides. AI will create a voice over for us in one click. You can also choose a number of different voice traits, such as a typical story or a voice of encouragement.

There's AI Avatar: If you don't want to go out on camera, there's an AI Avatar to use instead of us, or if you're going to video yourself, there's a Prompter feature for us to read, and you can automatically cut out the sounds we're talking about, like "Um" or "Uh."

Free Media Archive: In addition to creating videos themselves, Google Vids comes with a free library of photos, videos, music, and sound effects.

Access

Using Google Vids is easily done through a website and logged in with an email.

Free User: As a result of the initial tests, normal users are now unable to use advanced AI features such as Veo 3 or AI Avatar.

Google Workspace users: will be able to use these AI features.

Although some AI features are still limited to casual users now, it is likely that they will change in the future.
