ðŸ“ē Is our phone really safe?

⚠ïļ Stop! Before you install any application

Many people think that online perils only contain fake links or fraudulent SMS, but the reality is that the most dangerous "silent perils" are hiding in the form of "applications" that we download into the machine every day, especially free apps that look worth using.

Ever wondered if...Why does a flashlight app need access to a phone number? Why does a photo app need access to a GPS location all the time?

That's the alarm! ðŸšĻ

Your phone may be "infected" or unknowingly "jigged." This article will point out the dangers of the app you need to be aware of, with simple protection that everyone can do immediately.

ðŸ’ļ Threat 1: "Suck Money" App, Secret Information Jig

This threat comes in the form of a useful app, but it is actually malware or phishing designed to steal your financial information or passwords.

Danger app example:

An app that claims to be a "garbage optimization / washing app" (Cleaner / Booster), but instead asks for access to more important data.

Forged apps are the apps of banks or government agencies that we are familiar with.

Metaphor: Overloaded the advertised app. Finally, the account money disappeared because the app secretly accessed and retrieved the account information.

Preliminary prevention method:

Developer Name Check: Must be a trusted company

Read Review: If someone complains about missing money or leaking information, press Delete immediately.

ðŸ“ļ Threat 2: 'Access Rights' at Exchange for Privacy

This is the most common vulnerability. Pressing "Allow" without reading is to open the door for unnecessary apps to spy on your life.

Requested rights. Potential harm.

Camera / Microphone The app can sneak photos and record you even if the app is not on.

Location knows where you are 24 hours a day. This information may be sold.

Contacts Retrieve your friends list and phone number for spamming.

How to prevent:

Limited Settings: When an app requests permissions, select "Only allowed when using the app."

Check out: Go to Settings > Apps / Privacy > Rights Management and cancel the unnecessary permissions of the app you are wondering.

🔋 Threat 3: The hell app that secretly "works behind the scenes."

Some apps will secretly consume your machine's resources without having to work at all.

Alarm:

Mobile phone. Battery runs out fast. Unusual.

The use of Internet data is very high, although you do not use it heavily.

Mobile phone, hot machine all the time.

What the app does: You may secretly use your phone to dig up the script, or run behind-the-scenes ads to make money for the developer, where you have to pay your battery and net.

How to prevent:

Check the Batting: See which apps use abnormal energy and manage to limit the "behind the scenes" of the app.

✅ 3 things to do immediately! Before being hacked!

🗑ïļ Remove Non-Use Apps: Remove Untrusted Apps and Apps That haven't been used for more than 3 months from the machine.

🔒 authentication: Go into the settings to cancel access to your camera, microphone, and app location that you do not trust immediately.

Operating System Update: Always update iOS or Android to the latest version to close a discovered security vulnerability.
