After steaming, I left the deep conditioner in overnight because hydration is key when you’re prepping for a reversion. The next day, I used a good shampoo to cleanse my hair thoroughly (trust me, you need this to break down all the serums and products from wearing your hair straight) and followed up with a moisturizing conditioner.

Then came the fun part—styling! I used my favorite curl stylers, let my hair air dry a bit, and finished with diffusing. And voilà—my curls popped right back, healthy and happy! 💕

Now, let’s talk shrinkage, because on the last slide, you’ll see me pulling my hair to show the length. The real tea? There’s no trick to avoiding shrinkage—it’s just part of the natural curly hair life! The true secret is in prepping your hair before straightening it.
