New ITEMMMMM at Walmart

Oh my goodness, you guys! You know how I'm always on the hunt for exciting new finds, especially at Walmart, and this one truly caught my eye. Walking down the soda aisle, a splash of vibrant purple and red packaging just screamed 'try me!' It was multiple cases of Dr Pepper Blackberry soda stacked high, and the boxes featured these irresistible illustrations of blackberries. I literally stopped in my tracks! My usual mission is to grab zero-sugar options, but something about this Dr Pepper Blackberry was just calling my name. The packaging clearly stated 'Blackberry Naturally & Artificially Flavored,' and even though it mentioned '150 Calories per can' for the 12-12 FL OZ CANS, my curiosity completely took over. I thought, 'Okay, maybe just this once, for research purposes!' First things first, let's talk about the taste. You know Dr Pepper has that iconic 23-flavor blend, right? Well, imagine that comforting, unique taste, but with a delightful, juicy blackberry twist. It’s not overly sweet, which was a pleasant surprise, and the blackberry flavor feels quite authentic, not artificial in a bad way. It really complements the original Dr Pepper profile, adding a little fruity zing without overpowering it. It’s definitely a refreshing change, especially as we head into warmer weather. I can picture myself enjoying this ice-cold on a hot afternoon. Now, about my usual zero-sugar quest. While this version does have 150 calories per can, I did a quick check, and it seems Dr Pepper does offer a Zero Sugar version of some of its other flavors. I'm really hoping they bring out a Dr Pepper Blackberry Zero Sugar soon because I'd be stocking up on that in a heartbeat! But for a treat, this full-sugar version is absolutely delicious. It still gives you that satisfying soda experience without being syrupy. If you're a Dr Pepper fan or just love blackberry-flavored drinks, I highly recommend keeping an eye out for this at your local Walmart.
