My kiddo started playing this game not too long ago, and after seeing several posts online about how unsafe it can become, of course I looked up different ways to make it safe for my baby. So here’s some action I took to ensure he’s safe while playing the game and having fun.
Here are my top 3 steps to take.
✅Set permission for players:
navigate to the Settings menu. From there, go ahead and select the “Multiplayer” option and choose which players can interact with your child’s account and how.
✅Disable chat:
navigate to the Settings menu. From there,
select the “Multiplayer” option and
then toggle the “Chat” setting to “Off.”
✅Create a server whitelist:
navigate to the Settings menu. From there, go ahead and select the “Multiplayer” option and then toggle the “Whitelist” setting to “On.”
Once you’ve done this,
you can add approved servers to the whitelist by clicking the “Add Server” button.
I would suggest doing some research of friendly Minecraft servers. There’s a lot to choose from.
