Apple Event Recap, Is it worth the upgrade?
After the Apple event today, social media has been buzzing about the new line up, but is it worth it?
For an average consumer with maybe an iPhone 12 or earlier, Yes!
Honestly I think the internals got more of an upgrade than the hardware itself!
The 16 & 16 Plus all come with the new AI intelligence and the camera control button which basically lets you control the aperture and other camera settings.
The iPhone 16 pro models got an insane camera upgrade with 48mp which means amazing shots, the display is ceramic and it comes with the A18 pro chip, which means it’s really fast💨!
For across all 16 models there is now satellite messaging, WiFi 7, 50% Battery upgrade, and you can now FaceTime emergency services for them to give you proper advice if needed. There is also a feature that lets you automatically play a song from Apple Music if it’s sent to you as a recommendation via text.
📸 You can search specific photos by using keywords with AI. It also automatically create albums in your photo app if it detects similarities!
🔔 It prioritizes important notifications and now creates summaries of the correspondence 😲
✨My favorite part of the new AI is that you can create your own emojis!! I can’t wait to see what all of yall create lol.
✨The AirPods line up got a bump in active noise cancellation and wireless charging, conversation awareness, ability to take a hearing test and adjust your personal listening profile. also,it is now a validated hearing aid 🦻!
The AirPod pros will benefit from the upgraded ANC!
🎧 The AirPods Max gets new colors like pink, lavender and starlight- definitely interested in the Lavender 🥹. They definitely did not decrease in price so there’s that 🙃
✨Honestly, I’m most excited for the Apple Watch 10. It’s so thin yall! And it’s now in this very demure, very satin black color 😍 it also has a brighter screen, and speakers so we can now play music directly on our watch! Battery life is also upgraded to 36hrs and 72hrs on low power mode.
So in my opinion, for the iPhone 16, if you’re looking for better internals and Apple intelligence, Upgrade. If you’re looking for a change in the actual design, you may be better off waiting!
The AirPods Max, if you want a different color and better ANC, Upgrade.
The Apple Watch ⌚️,If you want a brighter screen, Apple intelligence, or if you feel like your current is outdated or too bulky, definitely worth the upgrade!
