Secure Boot Enabled but Not Active Windows 11 FIX

My Secure Boot was enabled in BIOS but Windows 11 insisted it wasn't active.

Here’s exactly how I fixed this issue in a few simple steps. I also backed up my system with AOMEI Backupper to stay safe while changing BIOS settings.

If your PC displays that Secure Boot is enabled but not active on Windows 11, it can be due to several underlying issues related to BIOS settings and boot modes. Secure Boot is a security feature designed to protect your computer from malware by allowing only trusted software to boot. However, if your system is set to Legacy Boot mode instead of UEFI, or if the Compatibility Support Module (CSM) is still enabled, Windows 11 may fail to recognize Secure Boot as active. Firstly, check if your BIOS is in UEFI mode rather than Legacy. This is crucial because Secure Boot only works on UEFI boot mode. You can enter your BIOS/UEFI settings by pressing the DEL or F2 key during startup. Then navigate to the Boot or Security tab and locate CSM (Compatibility Support Module).
