DIY At-Home Pregnancy Pics ✨
During pregnancy, I didn't want to leave the house. I was constantly exhausted. But I really wanted pictures to remember my pregnancy. I decided to do an At-home DIY photoshoot.
What you need:
• a sheet or white wall
• a camera or phone ( I used my iPhone)
• a bright light (Don't skip this step, lighting is key!)
• photo editing apps ( Facetune and VSCO)
All you need to do is pick an outfit, hang up the sheet, prop up your camera, point the light towards you and take some pictures. Don't be discouraged if the pictures don't turn out perfect. Mine were rough. I used the Facetune 'soften' and 'blur' features to blur out the background as well as soften up the look of my blemishes and stretch marks. Then I used VSCO to find a nice filter for the photo and cropped the photos to my liking. And that's it! You have some cute bump pics without even leaving your house!

Capturing memorable moments during pregnancy is important for many expectant mothers. A DIY pregnancy photoshoot allows you to document this special time creatively and personally. Here are some additional tips to enhance your at-home pregnancy photoshoot: 1. **Utilize Natural Light**: Aside from bright artificial lighting, consider using natural light by shooting during the golden hour—shortly after sunrise or before sunset. This soft, diffused light will bring out the best in your skin tone and make your photos shine. 2. **Incorporate Props**: Personalize your photos by including props that represent your journey, such as baby shoes, ultrasound pictures, or even a handwritten letter to your baby. These elements can add a unique touch to your images. 3. **Experiment with Angles**: Don't hesitate to try different angles and perspectives to find your best side. High angles can create a flattering effect on your profile, while low angles can emphasize your baby bump. 4. **Consider Your Outfit**: Choose outfits that make you feel comfortable and beautiful. Flowing fabrics, cozy knitwear, or a simple fitted dress can highlight your bump beautifully. Consider colors that pop in your photos and complement your environment. 5. **Edit Thoughtfully**: After capturing your images, use editing apps like Facetune or VSCO wisely. Enhance the photo's brightness, contrast, and saturation without over-editing. Authenticity is key; you want your photos to reflect the real you. 6. **Share the Experience**: If comfortable, involve your partner or other family members in the shoot for a more intimate and storytelling experience. Capture candid moments, and enjoy the process together. By following these tips, you can create timeless memories of your pregnancy journey that you will cherish forever. Happy shooting!

Welcome! So excited to see more from you in the future💛
