Botanical Characteristics
It is perennial: medium to large in size, up to 30 meters tall, the stem is straight, with a brownish gray to black bark, with a milky white latex.
Leaf: Single leaf, arranged opposite or circular around the joints (Whorled), lanceolate or parallel-edged ellipse, pointed tip, exam cone, oily thick leaf plate, dark green
Blossom: Out in panicles at the ends of branches or axils of leaves. Each panicle consists of many sub-flowers. Clean white flowers with 5 petals. Long slender appearance. Petal cones are joined together in a slight tube. Petal ends are separated from each other like turbines. The flowers have a mild fragrance.
Fruit: It is a long pair of pods, with many seeds.
Native and distribution
It is found in evergreen forests in Southeast Asian regions such as Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, the Philippines, India and Burma; in Thailand it is found much in the south, and parts of the northeast.
