🖤About me🖤

Hello! I’m super new to Lemon8 and wanted to share a little bit more about myself (see my last post 🤭). My name is Moth, and I’m 20 years old. My favorite colors are obviously black and red lol. I’ve been in love with all different types of alternative styles for as long as I can remember. I’m looking to create a community of other alt girlies, skincare fans, fashion lovers, and car enthusiasts. I look forward to meeting new friends!!! #altgirl #newaccount💋 #goth #shareyourthoughts

... Read moreOkay, so you've seen my 'About Me' post and maybe even glanced at my aesthetic mood board – and if you searched for 'moth moodboard', you're in the right place! I wanted to dive a little deeper into what went into creating it and why it perfectly captures my vibe. For me, a mood board isn't just a collection of pretty pictures; it's a visual diary of my inspirations and passions. It’s a way to manifest the energy I want to bring into my life and my presence here on Lemon8. When I was putting mine together, I focused on elements that truly speak to my soul. You can see how I incorporated the classic black, red, and white palette – these aren't just colors, they're the foundation of my entire aesthetic. The dark, contrasting tones represent that alt, goth vibe I've loved for as long as I can remember. There's just something so captivating about the dramatic flair and timeless elegance of gothic styles. I think the gothic window shadows really capture that moody, atmospheric feel I adore, bringing a touch of old-world charm to my modern alt look. And then there's the alternative makeup – that's a huge part of my everyday expression! It's all about playing with dramatic lines, bold colors, and a bit of a dark edge that makes me feel authentically myself. Whether it's a sharp winged liner or deep red lipstick, makeup allows me to transform and explore different facets of my personality. You might notice a blurred portrait too; that's about embracing the mystery and fluidity of personal style, not everything needs to be perfectly defined. It’s a reminder that style is an evolution! Of course, you can't have a mood board from me without my other major obsession: cars! That shot of a car's steering wheel isn't just random; it symbolizes my passion for automotive culture and the thrill of the open road. I've always been drawn to the aesthetic of cars, from classic muscle to sleek modern designs, and it's a big part of my identity. There’s a freedom and a power in cars that resonates deeply with my alt spirit. I'm hoping to connect with other car enthusiasts here on Lemon8 – maybe we can share our dream rides or even tips for maintaining them! Creating this mood board was a way to visually articulate who I am and what I'm looking for in this community. It’s a snapshot of my world – my love for alt styles, the gothic undertones, and the roar of an engine. It’s my way of saying, 'This is me, this is what I love, and I’m excited to share it.' If you're into similar things, whether it's experimenting with alternative makeup, admiring gothic architecture, or just cruising around, I'd love to hear from you. What elements would you put on your aesthetic mood board to describe yourself? Let's share our inspirations and build a cool community together! What's one thing on your ideal mood board that truly defines your style?

iOS 18! Let’s talk about it!
Every time there’s a new iOS, it does something to my little heart, I start planning in my head how I’m going to use new features to help me not only become more productive at my job or tasks, but also become a better me. I’ll be adding how I plan to use these features at work and or better myself.
