This book was my first book back into the fantasy genre… I’m always a romance genre girly but I wanted to get more into fantasy… and this book??? DID NOT DISAPPOINT. The book is 450 pages long and the book cover is completely different on Goodreads than on Kindle. So, if you are reading on Kindle, I have included the book cover for reference!
I’m not going to spoil the story but if your into werewolves, vampires, water nymphs and etc? This book is for you. I loved the plot and the fact that characters were being introduced left and right. I am on the second book of the series and when I’m done with that one I’ll update yall.

I hope that Maggie can finally understand her roots with the first family. We got to know a little about their history but during her stay at Drew Collin’s… her family not reaching out to her was weird. All of the staff was pretty much getting to know her for them I feel like. Also! Coach Namir…. Kinda didn’t like his character but after a while seeing that he cared for Maggie a little… I started feeling soft for him. Professor Akeem is maddddd weird for the interaction with poor little Souxie… I was mad that she even went that far with him outta ANYBODY else that wanted her. And poor Hilary. That’s all 😭😭😭
