It’s hard to put into words the profound love and happiness he brings into my life. From the moment he wakes up with that sleepy smile to our evening cuddles before bed, I try to soak in every single second. Being a parent is a journey, and he has filled mine with so much light and laughter, transforming ordinary days into extraordinary ones. One of our favorite things to do together, which always sparks pure magic, involves anything Disney. Whether it’s watching his favorite animated movies on repeat – currently, it's a toss-up between Moana and Toy Story – or planning future trips to the parks, the enchantment of Disney truly resonates with his spirit. I love seeing the wonder in his eyes when he spots Mickey Mouse or hears a familiar song. These aren't just cartoons or theme parks; they're doorways to imagination and shared experiences that I know we'll both cherish forever. And then there's Moose. For us, Moose isn't just an animal; he's practically a member of our family! It started with a little plush toy, a gift from his grandparents, that quickly became his inseparable companion. Now, 'Moose' is a term of endearment, a character in his imaginary games, and often, the silent observer of all our adventures. He takes Moose everywhere – to the grocery store, on car rides, and especially to bed. Seeing my son create such a deep bond with a simple toy reminds me of the innocence and beauty of childhood. It's those little, unique connections that make his world, and by extension, my world, so vibrant. I remember one particular afternoon when we were building a fort in the living room. My son, with Moose tucked firmly under his arm, was giggling uncontrollably as we draped blankets over chairs. He looked up at me, his eyes sparkling, and said, 'Mommy, this is the best day ever!' In that simple declaration, I felt my heart swell. Those are the precious moments I live for – the unplanned, unscripted instances of pure happiness and connection. They're the snapshots I'll carry with me long after he's grown. It’s not always grand gestures; sometimes it's just the quiet moments: reading a bedtime story, holding his hand on a walk, or listening to his imaginative tales. Each one is a reminder of the incredible gift that is my son, and the endless joy he brings. These aren't just fleeting seconds; they’re the building blocks of a beautiful life we're creating together, full of love, laughter, and a touch of Disney magic, always with Moose by our side. I wouldn't trade these memories for anything in the world, and I feel so lucky to be his mom.
