... Read moreApplying for the EAE can feel overwhelming if you leave preparation until the last minute. From personal experience, I found that starting to organize my portfolio and gather certificates early greatly reduced stress closer to the interview dates. Having actual work samples such as project reports, design drafts, or videos ready to showcase allowed me to clearly demonstrate my passion and skills relevant to the course I was applying for. It's also crucial to understand why you are drawn to the course—this 'why' forms the core of your interview answers. Reflect on specific experiences like CCAs, competitions, or school projects that relate directly to your chosen field. During interviews and aptitude tests, presenting yourself confidently and articulating real examples rather than vague statements about passion truly sets you apart. Moreover, keep note of all key deadlines: for O-Level students, applications open from 25 June to 1 July 2026, interviews span 6 July to 1 September, and offers are released between 8 and 11 September. For ITE students and graduates, applications are earlier, from 11 to 17 June 2026. Make sure to also be prepared for the withdrawal period from 14 September to 16 October. Lastly, dressing neatly, arriving on time, and demonstrating genuine enthusiasm can leave a positive impression on the evaluators. I recommend bookmarking the official Temasek Polytechnic EAE page (tp.edu.sg/eae) to stay updated with official information and resources. Starting early and staying organized was key to my successful EAE application, and it can be for you too!
