Project Pan 2025? 🤨 no more overconsumption
For as long as I can remember, I’ve buying and hoarding make up in a way that isn’t sustainable for one person to use. Even with two women living in this household, there is no way I’ll ever be able to use all of the makeup I have in my possession.
This year, I’m looking forward to doing a massive declutter and a true project pan project for my makeup and for other aspects of my life as well.
I did a video on my YouTube channel where I talked about my history with buying and it adds a lot of insight into my mindset and my goals for 2025.
I’ll be making an actual post of all my project pan pieces soon and my rules for my project. I’m so excited to stop giving into over consumption
In today's beauty landscape, the concept of Project Pan has gained significant traction among makeup enthusiasts looking to curb overconsumption and embrace sustainability. A Project Pan is a commitment to use up your existing makeup products rather than purchasing new ones, thus promoting a more responsible approach towards beauty consumption. As we move into 2025, many are reassessing their beauty habits and striving for minimalism. This involves not just decluttering their makeup but also considering their consumption choices more critically. Communities surrounding Project Pan share insights and personal experiences through social media platforms, helping to uplift and motivate participants. This movement encourages creativity in using existing products in diverse ways, from mixing shades to experimenting with new looks that make the most of what you already own. Engaging with hashtags like #projectpan, #overconsumption, and #projectpan2025 on platforms like Lemon8 can connect you with like-minded individuals and inspire fresh perspectives on sustainable beauty practices. Additionally, it's crucial to highlight the environmental impact of makeup production and disposal. By participating in a Project Pan, you are actively reducing waste and advocating for a healthier planet, all while enjoying the process of using what you already possess. For more enrichment in your journey, consider reading about the ingredients in your products, their sourcing, and exploring brands that prioritize sustainability. Ultimately, this journey is not merely about stopping overconsumption but embracing a mindful and joyous relationship with beauty.
