What I’ve been doing TTC + new things I’m trying 🫶
I’ve been TTC for about 3 months now after my miscarriage in October. Here are some things I’ve been doing and new things I plan to try in month 4 of TTC.
Things I’ve been doing:
1. I’ve been doing ovulation tests this whole time
2. Testing early and often and obsessing over imaginary lines 😭
3. Taking iron supplements
4. Working on my diet
5. Losing weight
New things I’m trying:
1. Taking a prenatal vitamin with DHA and Folic Acid daily
2. Drinking 80-100 oz of water daily 💧
3. Higher protein diet
4. Not obsessing over tests and lines
5. Waiting until 10-11 dpo to start testing

Trying to conceive (TTC) can be an emotional and complex journey, especially after experiencing a miscarriage. It's essential to maintain a balanced approach that includes physical health, emotional well-being, and practical testing methods. Ovulation tests can help pinpoint the fertile window, increasing the chances of conception. Monitoring your cycle through basal body temperature or ovulation strips provides valuable insights into your body’s rhythm. Alongside testing, nutrition plays a critical role. Adopting a higher protein diet boosts energy and supports overall health. Staying hydrated with 80-100 oz of water daily aids in bodily functions and may improve fertility. Emotional support through practices like journaling or meditation can foster resilience during this challenging process. Moreover, consider seeking guidance from a healthcare professional for personalized advice tailored to your situation. Your TTC journey is unique, and while strategies like not stressing over test lines or waiting until 10-11 dpo can help, always prioritize what feels right for you. Remember, you're not alone—connecting with others in similar situations can provide reassurance and shared experiences. This journey may be tough, but every positive step can lead you closer to your goal. Don't hesitate to explore forums or support groups, as they can be a wealth of information and community. Stay hopeful and take care of yourself along the way!
