Why I no longer curseš¤¬
Let me start by saying that I donāt feel like itās really anything WRONG with cursing persay. But in MY case. I just felt like I would say a curse word in every sentence!! And I sat and thought about it one day and was just like āI donāt like thatā so I decided to change it. It was a little hard at first just because it wasnāt my norm. But since Iāve kind of grasped the hang of it I be feeling pretty good about it. I donāt really listen to music that have too much vulgar language but when I do come across a song, it sometimes be hard to blur out the cuss word but Iāve really been doing that since a kid so itās really like muscle memory trying to blur it outš Thanks for reading me ramble about my life changesš©·š„°
Cursing is common in everyday language, but many people choose to reduce or eliminate it for various reasons. For some, it stems from a desire for clearer communication, while others may seek to promote a more positive environment. Studies have shown that excessive cursing can change perceptions and influence social interactions. Alternatives to cursing often include using more expressive vocabulary or phrases to convey emotions. For those trying to reduce their use of curse words, here are some practical steps: 1) Identify triggers for cursing and seek to replace them with appropriate words. 2) Practice mindfulness to be aware of language choices in communication. 3) Surround yourself with positive influences that encourage respectful language. Remember that the journey varies for everyone, and setting realistic goals is key.
