In Kyoto during the cherry blossom season, cherry blossoms are blooming everywhere in the city and it is really beautiful!
Kyoto of autumn leaves is very popular, but I overwhelmingly prefer cherry blossom season ‼️
There are several cherry blossom spots in Kyoto that I personally recommend, and one of them is Hirano Shrine.
[About Hirano Shrine]
At Hirano Shrine, you can see many rare kinds of cherry blossoms, and 400 cherry blossoms of 60 kinds are in full bloom, which is exactly the cherry blossom museum ✨✨
You can enjoy cherry blossoms from mid-March for early blooms and mid-April for late blooms 💡
It has been loved by Heian aristocrats as a shrine to enjoy cherry blossoms since the Heian period 😍
Looking at the main shrine, on the left side of the approach, there is something like a garden with a lot of cherry blossoms called "Ouen"!
Rape blossoms are also blooming, so it will be charged, but it is worth seeing!

京都の平野神社は、桜好きなら一度は訪れたい特別な場所です。私も数年前に春の訪れを感じたくて足を運びましたが、ここではただ桜を見るだけでなく、歴史と自然が織りなす特別な空間が楽しめました。 平野神社の桜は60種400本と多彩で、それぞれの桜が持つ個性をじっくり観察できるのが魅力です。早咲きの桜は3月中旬から咲き始め、まだ寒さが残る季節に春の訪れを感じられますし、遅咲きの桜は4月中旬まで楽しめるので、長期間にわたって花見シーズンを満喫できるのも嬉しいポイントです。 また、神社の参道の左側にある桜苑はまるで桜の庭園のようで、ここで見ることができる菜の花とのコントラストは、春の訪れをさらに華やかに演出しています。桜苑への入場は有料ですが、個人的にはおすすめしたい価値ある場所です。 ライトアップも歴史があり、平安時代から夜桜を楽しんできたという話を聞いて、歴史の深さに驚きました。実際のライトアップは幻想的で、昼間とは違った桜の美しさを堪能できます。夜の訪問を計画する際は、点灯時間の日没から21時までに合わせて行くと良いでしょう。 アクセスは、JR京都駅から市バスや京福電鉄で簡単に行けるので、公共交通機関を利用するのがおすすめです。私もバスを利用しましたが、北野白梅町駅から徒歩でも近く、周囲の観光スポットと合わせて散策しやすい立地です。 平野神社の春の光景は季節の移ろいを体感するには最高の場所。桜だけでなく菜の花も同時に楽しめる珍しい組み合わせは、写真好きの方にも喜ばれると思います。ライトアップの歴史や長期間にわたる見頃の期間も知っていれば、より深く感動できるはずです。 ぜひ今年の春は平野神社で、歴史と自然が織りなす本物の桜の風景を心ゆくまで楽しんでみてください。
