The Lost Apothecary

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

What really stayed with me was how the story unfolded piece by piece, like uncovering something hidden but deeply human. The bond between Nella and Eliza felt unexpected and tender — two people from different worlds, holding each other up in ways neither of them expected. Their connection felt like a quiet kind of survival.

And then there was Caroline’s journey. Watching her realize she didn’t have to keep living a life that didn’t feel like her own — that she could choose herself and her dreams — was really empowering. It made the past and present timelines feel connected by this theme of women reclaiming their lives, even in very different ways.

Overall, it left me thoughtful and a little inspired — reminded that it’s never too late to choose yourself.

I read this on audiobook and loved the way the narrators voiced the characters. The author did a great job at weaving the different timelines together. I would definitely read this book again.
