... Read moreIt's one thing to say 'I'm a dancer and a singer,' but it's another entirely to live it day in and day out. For me, it's not just a title; it's my whole world, a path I've been on since I was a little kid. Growing up, our house was always filled with music – melodies floating from the living room, rhythms pulsing from impromptu dance sessions. I guess you could say it was written in the stars for me to step onto this stage. Being both a dancer and a singer means double the dedication, double the training, and honestly, double the love for what I do. People often ask me, 'Which one do you love more?' and my answer is always the same: they're two sides of the same coin, each enhancing the other. When I'm dancing, my body becomes an instrument, telling stories words can't capture. When I'm singing, my voice carries emotions that resonate deep within. But when I combine them, that's when the magic truly happens. It's a full-body, full-soul expression that feels incredibly powerful and authentic. My journey hasn't been without its challenges, though. Imagine the physical demands of a rigorous dance rehearsal followed by hours of vocal practice. It means constantly pushing my limits, managing my energy, and making sure my body and voice are always in peak condition. There are days when my muscles ache and my throat feels tired, but the passion always outweighs the pain. I've learned the importance of discipline, self-care, and surrounding myself with mentors who understand the unique demands of a dual career. What truly drives me is the connection I feel with an audience. Whether it's through a powerful vocal performance that brings tears to their eyes or a high-energy dance routine that gets them on their feet, seeing that impact is everything. Every performance is an opportunity to share a piece of my soul and to hopefully inspire someone else on their own journey. I often reflect on those early days, being 'pushed' into the business. Back then, it felt like following a path laid out for me. Now, as an adult, I realize it wasn't just about external pressure; it was about discovering my own innate calling. This isn't just a job; it's my purpose. I'm constantly learning, growing, and refining my craft, always chasing that next opportunity to step onto a stage and share my art. My biggest hope is that my dedication and love for being a dancer and singer will open doors to even more incredible experiences and allow me to keep living this dream.
