A little late to this 💌
After long and exhausting workdays, I’ve found that taking time to decompress with friends can be a game changer in maintaining both mental and emotional health. Recently, I attended a girls' night event that featured beautiful flowers, delicious charcuterie boards, seasonal sips, and even a little friendly competition. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, perfect for letting go of the day’s stress. The combination of good food and great company created a comforting environment where everyone could share their experiences and unwind. Incorporating a variety of teas, including matcha, added a soothing touch that kept the energy balanced throughout the evening. The friendly contests helped break the ice and made the gathering even more enjoyable, fostering new connections and strengthening existing friendships. One thing that resonated with me was how these small moments of relaxation can boost productivity at work the following day. When we recognize how hard we’ve been working – as the event’s theme suggested with phrases like "I work SO hard.. I'm exhausted" – honoring our efforts by allowing room for fun and connection feels well deserved. Taking time to celebrate achievements, whether big or small, doesn’t only improve morale but also reminds us to care for ourselves. Events like these are a great way to recharge and return to daily routines feeling refreshed. If you ever get the chance to join a similar girls' night or work-related social event, I highly recommend embracing it for its many mental health benefits.
