What should I do to it?

Made this using the dollar tree mop. Added some red chenille crocheting yarn around it. Kinda looks like a peppermint candy to me but it needs more. I can cut the stick on the peppermint candy and push through the bottom middle or add the wreath from 2nd pic. Should I hot glue stuff around it on the front? Need some crafty minds to help me out. #wreathmaking #diyhelp #diychristmas #diydollartree #diydecorations

... Read moreIf you're looking to elevate your DIY peppermint candy wreath made from a Dollar Tree mop and red chenille yarn, here are some helpful ideas to complete your creative project. Consider adding dimension by cutting the stick on the peppermint candy element and inserting it through the bottom middle of the wreath. This will give it a more authentic lollipop look, making it stand out. For additional decoration, you could incorporate small ornaments, pinecones, or sprigs of faux holly, which can be hot glued around the front to add festive texture and visual interest. Using a glue gun ensures secure adhesion to various surfaces like yarn and mop fibers. In addition, glitter or metallic paint accents applied carefully can bring sparkle and catch light, enhancing the festive appeal. Another creative approach is layering ribbons or tulle in matching colors such as red, white, or silver around the wreath to create fullness and depth. Make sure to evenly space these for a balanced appearance. If you want to personalize the wreath further, adding small tags or signs with holiday messages can add charm. When assembling, keep proportions in mind to maintain a pleasing aesthetic that fits typical door wreath sizes. This fun and budget-friendly craft can add a unique, homemade touch to your holiday decorations. Don't hesitate to experiment with different embellishments to match your home’s style and bring out the cheerful peppermint candy vibe you aim for.
