Diving into Goldfinch, the concluding installment of the Plated Prisoner series, has been quite an emotional roller coaster for me. The series masterfully blends the elements of romantasy with a unique enemies-to-lovers trope, making it stand out in the crowded fantasy genre. Each book deepens the characters’ complexities while maintaining a strong connection to the retelling theme that keeps readers intrigued. Using library apps like Libby and Hoopla has been a game-changer for accessing such popular titles without immediate purchase. These platforms provide a seamless way to discover new releases and indulge in trending BookTok books, which has increased my reading variety tremendously. When I finally get the chance to buy books again, Goldfinch is definitely first on my list. What I appreciate most about Goldfinch and the series as a whole is how it balances intense emotional storytelling with fast-paced fantasy action. Raven Kennedy creates characters that feel real and flawed, which deepens my investment in their journeys. If you’re a fan of stories that explore complex relationships against a richly developed fantasy backdrop, this series is well worth the read.

The search party by Hannah Richell At first it took a minute to get to know several character’s but you do . I did feel it’s a story that I read before but I still liked it I still enjoyed some of the twists some were predictable . Overall I didn’t love it but didn’t hate it . I give it 3/5 star
