100 books in 2024 has been completed😎
I’m seriously so proud of myself for hitting this goal 😭 working full time and committing to other hobbies honestly made this difficult but I’ve really rekindled (no pun intended😉) my passion for reading this year and I can’t wait to see what amazing books I’ll read next year
(Wrap up and favs coming soon!)
As we approach 2024, many reading enthusiasts set ambitious goals to challenge themselves and rekindle their passion for books. Completing 100 books in a year is no small feat, especially while juggling work and personal commitments. To assist fellow readers, I’ve compiled some tips for achieving your reading goals. 1. **Set Realistic Goals**: While 100 books might be the target, assess your current reading habits and commitments first. Aim for a number that fits your lifestyle. 2. **Create a Reading Schedule**: Designate specific times during the day/week for reading. Whether it's 30 minutes in the morning or an hour before bed, consistency is key. 3. **Explore Different Genres**: Keeping your reading list diverse can maintain your interest. Mix fiction with non-fiction, graphic novels, and memoirs to keep the experience fresh. 4. **Join a Community**: Engaging with others in book clubs or online forums, like #lemon8bookclub, can provide motivation and introduce you to new titles. 5. **Track Your Progress**: Use apps, journals, or social media to log the books you've read. Reflecting on your journey can enhance your reading experience and motivate you to keep going. 6. **Don’t Rush**: Lastly, remember that reading should be an enjoyable experience. If some books aren’t resonating with you, it’s okay to put them down and try something new. Happy reading as you embark on your literary adventures in 2024!

Congratulations!! When I was in high school I set a goal to read 100 books in a year and it felt like quite the task to complete! What was your favorite book you read this year?
