Major winter storm targeting Texas starting Friday and now lasting into Sunday.
Cold air pushes south Friday with widespread freezing temperatures spreading across much of the state. The northern half of Texas may stay below freezing into Monday or even Tuesday.
Expect rain changing to sleet, freezing rain, and snow behind the cold front, with impacts expanding south through the weekend, potentially reaching the I-10 corridor.
