Baseball has truly changed my son’s life!
Some people might not understand why I am so incredibly proud or why I am so deeply into this sport. It’s because baseball gave Ashwin something that changed him from the inside out.
He used to lack confidence, keeping to himself and feeling too shy to make friends. Being surrounded by his sisters at home, he was always just so soft and sweet. But the moment we introduced him to baseball, he completely found his heart and poured everything into it. It feels like I got a whole new son.
Today, he is confident, strong, and full of self-love. He shines so brightly and is genuinely proud of himself. I don’t just love baseball; I appreciate every single day, every game, and every little bit of improvement that has shown me the incredible person he is becoming. 🤍⚾️
Mom loves you!
Watching my son grow into a confident young athlete over just three seasons of baseball has been nothing short of miraculous. Before baseball, he was a quiet, reserved boy who struggled to connect with others, especially as the only boy amidst his sisters. Introducing him to baseball gave him not only a new hobby but a new sense of identity and belonging. The structure and teamwork in baseball helped him develop social skills and friendships that were previously out of reach. It was amazing to see how every practice, game, and teamwork moment fueled his self-esteem. The discipline and physical activity of baseball boosted his energy and strength, but more importantly, it helped him find pride in his abilities and accomplishments. As a parent, it’s incredibly rewarding to witness how sports can nurture a child’s emotional growth alongside their physical development. Baseball encouraged him to overcome shyness, take on challenges, and celebrate his progress. This personal transformation is a testament to the power of sports in fostering self-love and resilience. If you have a shy child, I highly recommend exploring sports like baseball—not just for the athletic skills but for the life-changing confidence it can ignite.
