C-section Recovery Essentials
These are my top C-Section recovery essentials that I used to help me with recovery.
All of these products can be purchased on Amazon and no you do not need these exact brands.
Underwears I used for my C-section recovery were from Amazon and they had tummy control and were stretchy to help with putting on.
A tummy wrap is a must have for recovery. Most Hospitals will give you one and you can use them past your 6 week mark. You honestly want to keep it on until you feel you don’t need it anymore.
Peri Bottle is going to help you so much with cleaning all the blood and mess going on “down there” my hospital gave me something similar so I didn’t have to buy one. You can probably call ahead to verify so you don’t spend money on one.
Bio Oil or any scar cream you should honestly be using it before and after. Bio Oil helped me with not getting any stretch marks and made my scar get smaller.
Scar patches with help make your scar less noticeable or it may get rid of it completely but make sure to use it after you are clear not while your scar is still bleeding.

Recovering from a C-section can be challenging, but having the right essentials can make a significant difference. Here are some must-have items to consider: 1. **Tummy Control Underwear**: Comfortable and stretchy underwear can provide support to your recovery area, aiding in comfort and healing. Look for options that are specifically designed for postpartum recovery. 2. **Tummy Wrap**: Although most hospitals provide one, you can continue using a tummy wrap beyond the initial recovery phase. This item can help support your abdomen as you heal and can be worn as long as it's comfortable. 3. **Peri Bottle**: Essential for postpartum hygiene, a peri bottle can help with cleanliness during the recovery process. Check with your hospital if they provide one to save on costs. 4. **Bio Oil and Scar Cream**: Start using Bio Oil or a similar product to prevent stretch marks and minimize scarring. Applying this product before and after your surgery can help improve skin healing. 5. **Scar Patches**: Once your scar has healed, scar patches can be beneficial in reducing visibility. Always wait until your scar is completely healed to begin using these solutions. These items are not only available on Amazon, but you can also find alternatives based on your personal preferences. Remember, recovery varies for everyone, so listen to your body and consult with healthcare providers when necessary.

So IVE had a c-section before- what does the peri bottle do? (I never used it on my first c-section)
