This is such an easy quick way to make toxic free Moon Sand.
All you need is
3 Cups of Flour
1/4 Cup of Cooking oil
*Optional* Oil Base Food/Candy Coloring
if you want to make it “Taste Safe” you’ll have to preheat oven to 350 degrees and lay flour on parchment paper on baking dish.
Bake for 5 minutes to make sure you kill any bacteria 🦠
while baking pour Cooking oil into a bowl, stir in a few drop of food coloring, if using.
Once flour is baked pour about 1.5 Cups into bowl and mix well. Add more flour if needed.
I used the extra flour to make another batch with another 1/4 cup of oil.
I also used coconut oil, so I had to melt it in the microwave for a few seconds.
You can store leftover moon sand after your little one is done playing by placing it in an airtight container or zip-top bag. It can be kept at room temperature for up to 4 weeks.
**Always make sure your child has clean hands when playing and avoid getting the moon sand humid or wet.
