Day 1 of posting my UGC as a mom.

Hi,

Being a mom is hard but funding being a mom is even harder. I like to create content for brands that care less about how you look and more about the content you produce. I am no IG model but the content I put out is carefully curated with passion and effort.

I take pride in knowing that what I produce is admired by the brand I’m hired for and I’d love to continue this journey onward into 2024 and gain more collabs!

It can be really hard finding mutuals who see the vision in this community and what it can do! Let’s be mutuals and support one another ❤️ I’m @beauteewithkt on all platforms! #ugccreator #ugccontentcreator #ugccommunity #sahm #sahmlifestyle #ugcmom #contentcreator

When I began my path, it wasn't just about day one; it was about understanding the long game and finding my authentic voice. For anyone looking to embark on their own UGC journey, here’s what I've learned makes a real difference. First, define your 'why.' Why do you want to create UGC? For me, it's about passion and funding the 'mom life' through creative work. This clarity helps you stay motivated when challenges arise. Next, focus on building a strong foundation. This means understanding what kind of content you genuinely enjoy creating and what products you'd naturally use. For instance, if you're passionate about hair care, showcasing a product like Moremo Kair Serum in a genuine, unboxing, or 'how-to' video would naturally resonate with your audience and brands. It’s about being real, not just looking 'perfect.' Building your portfolio is crucial. You don't need expensive equipment to start. Use your phone, good lighting, and practice. Create diverse content pieces that highlight your skills – unboxings, tutorials, testimonials, lifestyle shots. Think about products you already use and love, and create mock-up content for them. This shows brands your potential and unique style. Finding brands to collaborate with often starts with a strong portfolio and a clear pitch. Research brands that align with your values and content style. Don't be afraid to reach out directly through their social media DMs or contact forms. Highlight how your authentic perspective and engaging content can benefit their product. Remember, brands are looking for genuine connection with their audience, and that's precisely what UGC creators, especially moms, can offer. Connecting with other creators has been invaluable in my journey. The #ugccommunity, #ugcmom, and #sahm hashtags are fantastic starting points to find mutuals who understand the unique aspects of this path. Share tips, offer encouragement, and celebrate successes together. It's a journey best traveled with support. Finally, keep learning and adapting. The UGC landscape is always evolving. Stay updated on trends, refine your skills, and be open to feedback. My UGC journey is just beginning, but with dedication, authenticity, and a supportive community, I believe anyone can turn their passion into a fulfilling creative venture.
