🚨CALLING ALL READERS🚨
I’m baaaaaack!!!
And I am in need of you services, and no this isn’t your standard “drop your recs and I’ll maybe get to them in six months” situation.
This is organized.
This is intentional.
This is... frankly... a little overwhelming.
As some of you may have gathered (or ignored, which feels personal btw), I have begun writing actual book reviews. With structure, opinions, and the potential to ruin someone’s emotional stability... mainly mine.
In a move that has shocked absolutely no one with pattern recognition skills, I will not be limiting myself to traditionally published works.
Indie books? Absolutely!
ARCs? Obviously!
Fanfiction? Especially!
*editors note: no negative reviews will be posted on my page*
I have no fear and questionable self control.
Now. The situation at hand...
I am building a list of 8 fics that I recommend wholeheartedly. They will be subjected to full, in depth, no thought left unspoken, reviews this month. Let me tell you my nosey readers... there's a lot more to a recommendation from me than "it was such a good story."
Isolation is already secured (legally, spiritually, emotionally...it was never optional) and Oops! I Joined the Good Guys is hovering dangerously close to making the list.
Which means the rest of the slots are in your hands!
DROP YOUR RECOMMENDATIONS BELOW:
* your god-tier fics
*your emotional whiplash fics
*your “this altered my brain chemistry” fics
*and (if you’re feeling petty) the ones you think will make me lose my mind publicly.
Be advised:
I will be reading.
I will be emotional.
I will be documenting everything like a nocturnal goblin with WiFi and a grudge against sleep.
Fandoms welcome:
Inuyasha- Sesskag, Kogkag
Harry Potter- Dramione, Deromione
Proceed accordingly.

*note 1: this us the "voice" I use for book reviews, that's why it sounds so different from my normal posts lol. I do prefer HEA, Multichapter fics. And for this project I'll only be looking at complete works.*
*note 2: In order to comply with fandom etiquette, I will NEVER post a negative (flame, rude, nothing good to say). Will I give a critique or two, possibly. But if its not at least a 4⭐️read for me, I won't talk about it. Its basically fanfics I recommend and an in depth reason as to why rather than just posting tropes, tags, summary, and saying "iT wAs GoOd"*

As an avid reader and fanfiction enthusiast, I can totally relate to the excitement and challenge of finding those gem Dramione fics that truly resonate on an emotional level. When diving into Dramione stories, some of the most memorable ones tend to have strong slow-burn romance, intricate character development, and that perfect mix of angst and redemption. This kind of storytelling hooks you emotionally and keeps you thinking long after the last chapter. I've found that indie authors and fanfiction writers often bring fresh perspectives to the Dramione trope, taking creative risks traditional publishing sometimes avoids. So recommending lesser-known or indie works truly helps bring those unique voices to a wider audience. Since House Of Whimsy emphasizes complete, multichapter fics with happy endings (HEA), I’d also suggest including stories that balance plot tension and emotional payoff masterfully. Moreover, the prospect of unfiltered, honest yet considerate reviews is refreshing in the fanfiction community. It means getting beyond simple ratings or tags, and diving deep into why a fic alters your perception or damages your emotional stability (in the best way!). Such reviews help readers find stories that might challenge their expectations and offer new fandom experiences. For anyone submitting recs, think about those dramatic, plot-twisting fics with well-crafted villains, complex survivors, and emotional chaos followed by satisfying resolution. These are the kinds of stories that get remembered and talked about – the ones that can mess with your brain chemistry and still leave you hopeful. If you’re passionate about Dramione, this is your chance to influence which fanfics get the spotlight and to engage in a thoughtful community dialogue. Just like House Of Whimsy says, proceed accordingly – your recommendations might just start a ripple effect of in-depth, meaningful book reviews. Happy reading and sharing!
