Page 9, Chapter 5, Book 26 ✨

Today felt like one of those slow, beautiful days you wish you could bottle up forever. I spent Mother’s Day soaking in the joy of motherhood alongside three of my favorite women - my sweet grandmother, my mom, & my baby sister 🤍 We spent the day eating good food, laughing a little louder, taking our time, exploring nature 🌿, & ending it with ice cream from Zesto in Lincoln 🍦

Days like today remind me how proud I am of the women & mothers we’ve become. There’s something special about looking around & realizing you’re surrounded by generations of love, strength, & grace ✨

I’m especially thankful for my mom & my grandmother, two women who showed me what motherhood looks like long before I ever stepped into it myself. Thank you for being such beautiful role models, for loving so deeply, giving so selflessly, & for setting the example of the kind of mother I always hoped I could become. So much of who I am as a mother today started with the love I learned from both of you 🤍

& to my amazing soon-to-be husband : thank you for giving me the greatest gifts I’ve ever known - the joy, purpose, & privilege of not only motherhood, but my life long dream of being a stay-at-home & homeschooling mama. Thank you for helping create this beautiful life we’ve built together. Watching our family grow has been one of the greatest blessings of my life ✨

Motherhood changed everything for me. In so many ways, it saved my life. I truly don’t know where I’d be without Skylar, Theo, & Charlotte. They gave my life a depth & purpose I never knew I was searching for 🤍

Here’s to another year of living the life I once dreamed about, embracing every season, & continuing to become the best mother I can be. 🌙🤍

... Read moreMotherhood is truly a transformative experience that deepens the meaning of life in ways we often don't anticipate. From my own experience, I've found that spending quality time with family and embracing each moment, however slow or simple, can anchor us amid the busy demands of parenting. Whether it’s exploring nature, sharing laughter, or enjoying an ice cream outing, these shared experiences build lasting memories and strengthen familial bonds. The beauty of observing multiple generations of women together brings immense perspective on what it means to love selflessly and lead by example. In my journey, having role models like my mother and grandmother was invaluable. They taught me resilience, patience, and unconditional support, which now guide my own path as a mother. This intergenerational wisdom fosters greater understanding and appreciation for the sacrifices and joys embedded in motherhood. Additionally, choosing to be a stay-at-home and homeschooling mom has offered profound fulfillment and unique challenges. Crafting a homeschool routine requires patience, creativity, and flexibility but seeing children thrive in such a personalized environment offers immense satisfaction. It also allows for closer family ties and a more integrated daily experience together. If you’re considering this lifestyle, connecting with community groups or forums dedicated to #homeschoolroutine can provide encouragement and practical advice. Music and simple pleasures like visits to local spots—such as the Pioneers Park Nature Center or enjoying treats like Zesto’s ice cream—remind us to celebrate small joys amid life’s big changes. Proverbs 31 beautifully encapsulates the strength and grace many mothers embody, encouraging self-recognition of our own worth and efforts. Ultimately, embracing motherhood means embracing growth, vulnerability, and love that transcends time. Taking time to honor where we’ve come from and where we are headed helps shape not only our identities but the legacy we leave for the next generation.
