Dripping involves directly applying e-liquid onto the coil and wick of a rebuildable dripping atomizer (RDA) rather than using a tank. This method offers several unique benefits. Firstly, dripping provides an intense and pure flavor. Without a tank diluting the flavor, every drop of e-liquid vaporizes instantly, delivering sharper and more vibrant tastes. For those who enjoy fruity, sweet, or complex e-liquid profiles, dripping brings out nuances that can otherwise be muted in standard setups. Another great advantage is the customization dripping offers. You can easily switch between e-liquids by simply dripping a new flavor without having to clean out a tank. This flexibility makes it easy to try new recipes or mix flavors on the go. From a personal perspective, I’ve found that controlling the amount of liquid you drip enables better coil saturation control. This helps prevent dry hits or burnt tastes, which can sometimes happen with tank vaping if the coil hasn’t wicked properly. However, dripping does require a bit more attention and knowledge. Regular dripping every few puffs means you need to stay engaged with your device more than you might with a standard tank. It’s also essential to use an RDA with good airflow and to regularly maintain and build your coils for optimal performance. If you’re new to dripping, starting out with simple recipes and low nicotine levels can make the experience enjoyable and safe.
