You will never guess what happened!
This past weekend I was set up at an event out of town. On Friday evening, the first night of the festival, I was standing talking with some people at the front edge of my booth when I felt something moving on my boots. I look down to meet the cutest pair of yellow eyes staring back up at me. This little kitten had perched itself on top of my boots and leaned back against my legs.🐈⬛
I scooped her up and examined her. She had no collar and a couple bald spots on her neck that look to be from an old injury that had already healed. She purred and made biscuits against me instantly. I allowed other people to hold her but she would start looking for me and reaching toward me after a while. I was concerned about bringing her home because I already have 2 large dogs and a 5 year old cat. While everyone was happy to hold and play with her, nobody wanted to take her.
As we packed up for the evening it began to storm so we planned to bring her home and keep her isolated. She fits in so well and the dogs are already so curious about her. My other cat likes to stay in the basement so I don’t think she has realized there is another cat just yet. We are getting her into the vet ASAP to get checked and if she is healthy then we will be adopting her into our little pack.🥰
