I painted some cardboard boxes to look like bricks with designs on them for a Christmas parade float. This was definitely one of my top favorites! I loved Dr. Seuss’ artwork when I was little. His stories affected my life, from my kindergarten teacher making us green eggs and ham, to a friend gifting me an ‘Oh the Places You Will Go!’ Bear from Build-a-Bear on my graduation day. But the one story that stuck the most with me is the Grinch. Even on the years I didn’t see the movie (I definitely prefer the original animated) I would still hear the song and think of him slithering through houses snatching up their belongings. I love Dr. Seuss and especially The Grinch! I also love watching the original movie voiced by Boris Karloff. I laugh at the singing every time. Jim Carrey’s is another favorite version.
