Twelve things for twelfth grade!!
Shout to my mom! I love you so much thank you for doing this trend with me ❤️❤️
Item explanations:
- Halloween squish mellows are for my love of Halloween and stuffed animal collections, they can double as Halloween decor 🎃
- eraser caps are for my pencils, I always use pencils during classes and erase way to much and run out of an eraser quickly
- eraser + sharpener, again I need the erasers for my pencils and I need a new sharpener because my old one always breaks the pencil lead
- Mortal instruments book, I really want to get back into reading and have already finished the first book
- Thinking putty, for my anxiety while at home or at school. I also wanted a bigger one because I feel like the little tins don’t always have enough putty in them
- clothes, not really needed but clothes are always a good find! I’ve been wanting more y2k inspired clothes since we don’t have great thrift stores around. Also been looking for a chain belt similar to this for a while for my dresses and skirts!
- Lastly a journal so I can start a junk journal ❤️
As a twelfth grader myself, I can totally relate to the mix of school necessities and personal comfort items that make the final year more manageable and enjoyable. One thing I've learned is that having reliable supplies like good erasers and a durable sharpener can really save time during classes. It's frustrating when pencil leads keep breaking, so investing in a quality sharpener is worth it. For managing stress, I can highly recommend thinking putty. It’s a simple tool but surprisingly effective for anxiety relief, especially during exam seasons or when working on big projects. Having a larger tin means you won’t run out quickly, which is a plus. I love the idea of incorporating Halloween Squishmallows not just as collectibles but also as festive decor—it brings a bit of joy and personality to study spaces. Plus, the trend of Y2K-inspired clothing is making a comeback, and even without great thrift stores nearby, finding unique pieces online or at local shops can help express your style effortlessly. Pairing dresses and skirts with a chain belt adds a trendy touch that feels fresh. Starting a journal, especially a junk journal, is a fantastic suggestion for expressing creativity and documenting your final year. It can be a great emotional outlet and a way to look back on memorable moments. Books like those in the Mortal Instruments series are perfect for diving into fiction and taking breaks from academic work—getting lost in a good story can recharge your mind. Overall, mixing practical school tools with items that help with anxiety and personal interests strikes a great balance for anyone heading into their senior year.
