Last year I put out pumpkins….
🎃 Last year’s pumpkins were left to break down in the yard — and now, almost a year later, they’ve rooted themselves into something new. Beautiful vines, full of life, pushing through the soil like they never gave up.
And honestly? That’s how I’ve been feeling lately. Burnt out. Doubtful. Some days, even a little depressed. Like parts of me are deteriorating under the weight of motherhood, marriage, work, and just… life.
But then this happened — and it reminded me that even in the breaking down, there’s a process. Even when you feel like you’re falling apart, God is still working beneath the surface. The old version of you isn’t wasted — it’s feeding the ground for what’s next.
Growth doesn’t always look graceful. Sometimes it looks like survival. But even survival can bloom.
