... Read moreHey everyone! So, you've probably seen my recent posts about the St. Paul Winter Carnival 2024, and yes, that's me, Rumblie the Clown, hanging out with some truly amazing Krampus characters! I know some of you might be wondering, 'Who is Rumblie the Clown?' and 'What's with the Krampus connection?' Let me tell you, it was an absolute blast, and a truly unique experience I wanted to share more about. For those new to my world, I'm Rumblie, a clown who loves bringing smiles and a bit of whimsical fun wherever I go. I often perform at various events, but the Winter Carnival always holds a special place in my heart. This year, however, was extra special because of the incredible Krampus presence. Imagine a festive, snowy backdrop, a glittering Christmas tree, and then these dark, horned figures with their chains and masks – it creates such an intriguing contrast! You can see in the photos, I'm usually in my vibrant, checkered overalls and often have a prop like my silver 'sword-like object' that adds to the playful absurdity. Posing with these fearsome-looking but ultimately friendly Krampus characters was a highlight. We even got a few shots where I'm wearing my festive outfit, standing next to a dark-furred Krampus, complete with their menacing mask. The energy was electric! The 'Krampus clown' idea isn't a formal troupe, but it's more about the unexpected joy of two vastly different entertainment styles coexisting and creating something memorable. The Krampus MN group brought such an authentic, captivating energy. It wasn't just about jump scares; it was about the lore, the craftsmanship of their costumes, and the sheer spectacle. I even got to pose with one light-furred Krampus and another dark-furred one, showcasing the variety in their characters. People's reactions were priceless – a mix of awe, amusement, and a little bit of playful fear! It’s what makes the St. Paul Winter Carnival so magical; you never know what fantastic sights you'll encounter. If you're ever at an event like this, don't be shy about interacting! We love seeing your smiles (and sometimes your surprised faces!). The whole experience, from the chilly air to the warm camaraderie amongst performers, makes it truly unforgettable. It’s a perfect example of how different worlds of performance can collide to create something truly spectacular. Make sure to check out the St. Paul Winter Carnival next year – you never know who Rumblie might be teaming up with!
