I've personally used KG Primary Penmanship L for "Learning Time" exercises and KG Primary Dots Lined for tracing letters – it makes it so much easier for young learners to practice their strokes. It's designed to mimic elementary handwriting, which is incredibly helpful for early literacy. For my classroom bulletin boards or fun activity titles like "Recess," Schoolbell adds a playful yet clear touch. Let's not forget Canva Student Font! This is a versatile option that works well for student projects or general text where you want a clean, youthful look. It’s a great all-rounder. Finally, for those everyday practical needs, Blueberry is a friendly, readable font I often use for things like 'Dismissal' notices or quick notes home. It's clear without being too formal. My tip for you: when you're in Canva, just type the font name into the search bar in the text editor. Most of these free fonts are readily available to use! Experiment with different pairings – for instance, a bold font like Permanent Marker for a title and a simpler one like Canva Student Font for the body text.
