Others first
Living a life where others come first is both rewarding and challenging. From personal experience, I have found that constantly putting others' happiness before my own often means hiding my true feelings to avoid causing worry. This can be mentally exhausting, yet it fosters deep empathy and stronger relationships. There were times I apologized even when I knew I wasn't wrong because preserving peace mattered more. While this selflessness can be misunderstood as weakness or selfishness by others, it often stems from a place of care and patience. One important lesson is learning to balance self-care with caring for others. Without this balance, it's easy to feel drained or overlooked. Practicing clear communication and occasional boundary-setting helped me maintain my well-being while continuing to support loved ones. Ultimately, putting others first is about love and respect, but it requires self-awareness and resilience to ensure it leads to mutual happiness rather than personal sacrifice alone. This mindset can transform relationships and deepen connections, showing that true strength lies in kindness and humility.
