For ages, hitting the snooze button felt like my superpower, and my mornings were a chaotic rush. But I finally decided enough was enough, and slowly but surely, I transformed my mornings into a peaceful, productive, and genuinely aesthetic start to my day. My Journey to Becoming a Morning Person It might sound daunting to wake up early, especially if you're not a natural morning person. My secret? Start small! Instead of trying to jump out of bed at 5 AM, I began by setting my alarm just 15 minutes earlier than usual. Once that felt comfortable, I’d push it back another 15 minutes. This gradual approach made it feel achievable, not like a monumental task. What truly motivated me was realizing how much peaceful, uninterrupted time I gained for myself before the rest of the world (and my to-do list!) came calling. That quiet hour with a warm drink and a good book became my sacred space, a true moment of self-care. Crafting Your Aesthetic & Productive Morning Routine Now, let's talk about building a morning routine that not only makes you feel good but also looks good – because an aesthetic environment can seriously boost your mood! Here’s how I structured mine, incorporating elements that feel both practical and lovely: Hydration First: Before anything else, I head straight for the kitchen to grab a big glass of water, often infused with lemon and cucumber, just like my favorite glass jar. It feels so refreshing and instantly wakes up my body. Make Your Bed: This sounds so simple, but neatly making my bed the moment I get up is a huge win. It's a small accomplishment that sets a positive tone and makes my room feel instantly tidier and more inviting. Mindful Moments with Journaling: Then, I grab my gratitude journal and my favorite pink pen. Jotting down a few things I'm thankful for, or planning my top three tasks for the day, really helps focus my mind and reduces any morning anxiety. This iced green drink next to me is a bonus! Gentle Movement: Even 10-15 minutes of gentle yoga or stretching on my pink mat can make a world of difference. It calms my nerves and gets my body moving without feeling like a full workout. Nourishing Breakfast: A healthy breakfast is non-negotiable. My go-to is usually oatmeal topped with fresh strawberries, blueberries, and shredded coconut. It's delicious and keeps me full and energized for hours. Self-Care Rituals: After a warm shower, my skincare routine feels like a luxurious treat. Sometimes I even throw on a face mask while I catch up on some motivational content from my favorite creators on my tablet. It’s all about creating those small moments of joy. Remember, your routine doesn't have to be rigid. The key is finding what works for you and what makes you feel energized and ready to tackle the day. Ditching the 'lazy girl era' isn't about perfection; it's about progress and creating a lifestyle that truly serves you. You've got this!

I have a energy vampire (toddler) so yes I wake up early but I'm exhausted all day (and I get 7-9 hours of sleep)

My problem is, I’m the proverbial night owl. And I work morning shifts, 7a-3p, but no matter how hard I try, I can’t seem to get to sleep early enough and get decent sleep. I always get my best sleep in the morning hours when I should be getting up and getting ready for work and it’s really starting to affect me. I prefer showering in the morning because I hate going to bed with my hair wet, but I can’t get myself out of bed early enough to do anything but get dressed make coffee and run out the door. Idk what to do to change that
