Anime Characters with a lot of Kids

... Read moreOMG, I totally agree with the original post – some anime characters definitely need to be careful, because their family trees are absolutely wild! I mean, who knew that so many of our favorite heroes and even villains were out here building entire dynasties? I was just looking into this, and my mind was blown by how many kids some of these characters end up having! First off, let's talk about King and Diane from The Seven Deadly Sins. Seriously, did you guys know they have seven children?! I always loved their dynamic, but hearing about their huge family just makes their story even more heartwarming. It’s not something you see every day with main characters, especially in action-packed series. It really makes you wonder about their life after all the intense battles, settling down and raising so many little ones. It’s like a whole new chapter we don't always get to see, but it’s so cool to imagine them navigating parenthood with their unique powers. And speaking of iconic couples, how about Ichigo Kurosaki and Orihime Inoue from Bleach? Their son, Kazui Kurosaki, is super adorable and definitely a fan-favorite. It’s amazing to see the legacy of such powerful characters continue. It feels like a natural progression for their story, even if we only get glimpses of their family life. But wait, there's more! If you thought seven or one was a lot, prepare yourselves. In the world of Tenchi Muyo!, Tenchi Masaki is apparently living the dream (or nightmare, depending on your perspective!) with *seven wives and ten children*. Talk about a full house! And then there's Hiraku, who takes it to another level with an astonishing *21 wives and 29 children*. My jaw practically hit the floor when I saw that! How do you even keep track of everyone's birthdays?! Let’s not forget Rudeus from Mushoku Tensei, who ends up with *three wives and eight children*. This guy really commits to building a family. It's often so interesting to see how these characters balance their epic adventures with their personal lives and responsibilities as parents. And for something completely different, who could forget Big Mom from One Piece? This villainess is a force of nature, not just in battle, but in procreation! With *43 husbands and 85 children*, she’s practically a one-woman army producer. It's a huge part of her character and her crew, showing just how vast and intricate the world of One Piece can be. Then there's Touya Mochizuki from In Another World With My Smartphone, who marries *nine wives and has nine children*. It seems like the "isekai" genre is particularly keen on exploring these large family dynamics, often as a way to show the protagonist's influence and power in a new world. And let’s give a shout-out to Gobrou, who has *seven wives, two lovers, and five children*. Phew! It makes you think, why do authors create such huge families for their characters? Is it to show growth, create new plotlines, or just lean into the fun of the harem genre? Whatever the reason, it certainly makes for some unforgettable character lore. What do you guys think? Which anime family surprised you the most, and which character did you wish had more kids?
