Sweaty palms. Heart racing. Getting into a car with a complete stranger holding a clipboard, watching every turn, every stop, every mirror check… and literally checking boxes as you go. 😭🚗 The DRIVER’S TEST.

And just like that… SHE PASSED. 🥹🤍

Hailey practiced all summer for this moment—from May through the end of July. Her dad drove from Tampa every weekend and spent two days helping her practice, over and over again, because she had a goal: get that license and secure that parking pass for junior year.

And somehow, after running through Meet Your Teacher with my two middle schoolers, I pulled up JUST in time to watch my oldest daughter take her test. 🥹

There are these little moments in motherhood when you realize your babies aren’t babies anymore. Watching her pull away with an instructor in that passenger seat was definitely one of mine.

All those weekends. All those practice drives. All the corrections, nerves, parallel parking, turns, stops and “Mom, I got it!” moments led here.

We are SO proud of you, Hailey. 🤍

What an accomplishment. What a summer. What a beautiful reminder that practice, patience and consistency pay off.
