Multimouse! marinette in Lego style-

As a huge Miraculous Ladybug fan, I'm always looking for new ways to express my love for Marinette and her superhero alter-egos! Recently, I've been super into the idea of combining my favorite characters with the iconic blocky style of LEGO. There's just something so charming about seeing familiar faces in that distinct, buildable form, even in a simple pencil sketch. For this particular set of drawings, I wanted to capture Marinette not just as Ladybug, but also as Multimouse – a form I think is incredibly underrated and offers so much visual potential. I started by sketching, trying to imagine how her traditional outfit would translate into a LEGO minifigure's proportions. It's a fun challenge to simplify complex designs while keeping them recognizable and full of personality. Drawing Multimouse was especially fun. I focused on her unique traditional outfit, thinking about how those details would appear on a LEGO character. I even included the little mouse-like kwami, Mullo, near her face – imagining a tiny LEGO accessory for him! For the dynamic pose, I envisioned her holding a yo-yo, which is such a key part of her superhero gear, even as Multimouse. Then, switching to Ladybug, I captured her with that familiar worried expression – something she often carries when facing Hawkmoth's akumas! Her classic spotted suit and pigtails are so iconic, and I tried to make them pop even in a pencil sketch. It’s all about bringing that Miraculous magic into a new artistic medium, keeping the essence of the characters while adding a LEGO twist. Focus on Key Features: What makes Marinette, Ladybug, or Multimouse instantly recognizable? Her pigtails, the distinctive spotted suit, Multimouse's unique ears and traditional outfit. Emphasize these core elements to ensure your character is identifiable. Think in Blocks: Even if you're drawing, try to visualize how the clothing folds, hair, or accessories would look if they were made of actual LEGO bricks. This can inspire interesting textures and shapes in your artwork. Character Poses: LEGO minifigures have a certain range of motion. Experiment with poses that feel natural for a LEGO character, whether it's an action pose with a yo-yo or a thoughtful stance with a worried expression. Don't Be Afraid to Experiment: Mix mediums! You could do digital art, traditional pencil sketches like mine, or even try to design actual custom minifigure decals. The goal is to have fun and share your passion with other Miraculous fans.
