WIP of the day ~

As an artist deeply immersed in the Goblincore aesthetic, I find it refreshing to challenge the usual green goblin trope by exploring diverse skin tones and characteristics in my goblin characters. This WIP (work in progress) is a manifestation of that creative choice, showcasing how not all goblins have to be green to convey their mystical and whimsical nature. Goblincore often celebrates the quirky, earthy, and sometimes gritty aspects of goblin-inspired art, and integrating a fresh color palette can enhance the originality and appeal of such characters. Working on original characters (OCs) allows me to express personal style and narrative through visual traits. When creating goblins, I like to experiment with textures, hues, and subtle details like bug-like motifs or nature-inspired elements to add depth. Using tools provided in OCart techniques enables artists like me to iterate designs quickly while keeping the core personality intact. It’s exciting to see a character evolve from a basic sketch into a vibrant figure with charm and identity. Sharing progress as a cozyartist helps build a supportive community around niche interests like Goblincore and fantasy art.
